Punctuation and Capitalization
* Apostrophes (pages 170-171) - Possessives can be especially challenging for students. They seem to want to put apostrophes in every word that ends in -s as soon as we start learning about them. Many students would benefit from extra practice!
* Test Review
TEST FRIDAY, 9/20 on Punctuation. This will cover ending punctuation, commas in lists, commas with conjunctions, commas in direct address, and apostrophes. We will do a practice test in class so that students will be familiar with what to expect.
